Abstract

This  study  aims  to  identify  the  extent  of  applying  the  dimensions  of the learning organization  dimensions  in  the  medical  imaging  departments  at the public governmental  hospitals  in  Gaza  Strip,  (7)  hospitals  according to Marsick & Watkins model 2003. Furthermore,  the  aim  is  to  identify  the extent  of  applying  the occupational health  and  safety  procedures,  and examining  the  relationship  between the learning  organization  and strengthening  occupational  health  and safety procedures.

Abstract

Coeliac disease is an important clinical disorder affecting the human gastrointestinal leading to multiple signs and symptoms in different body organs. This disease was the subject of a cross sectional descriptive-analytic study conducted in Ard El-Insan Palestinian Benevolent Association in the Gaza Strip during 2009. Study objectives were oriented to identify and verify several variables and attributes affecting the prognosis of coeliac patients including; socio-demographic factors, knowledge, attitude and compliance as well as testing the blood levels of calcium, albumin and body mass index. The study population included two groups of already diagnosed 95 children (34 males and 61 females) out of 113 patients. The studied children were distributed into two age groups from 2 to 11 years (66 patients) and from 12 to 18 years old (29 patients).
