{"id":106509,"date":"2020-11-17T10:00:32","date_gmt":"2020-11-17T08:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/?p=106509"},"modified":"2020-11-17T10:47:31","modified_gmt":"2020-11-17T08:47:31","slug":"moh-gaza-celebrated-the-graduation-of-the-family-medicine-diplomas-first-batch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/moh-gaza-celebrated-the-graduation-of-the-family-medicine-diplomas-first-batch\/","title":{"rendered":"MOH-Gaza celebrated the graduation of the Family Medicine Diploma&#8217;s first batch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MOH-Gaza celebrated the graduation of the Family Medicine Diploma&#8217;s first batch, which was implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) and approved by the Palestinian Medical Council.<br \/>\nThe ceremony, which graduated 23 doctors, was attended by the Islamic University&#8217;s president, Dr. Nasser Farhat, Dr. Fadl Naim, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the IUG, Dr. Muhammad Al-Kashef, Chairman of the Palestinian Medical Council, Dr. Maher Shamiya, Director General of Supervision, Dr. Musa Abed, Deputy Director-General of Primary Care, and Dr. Fawzi Sharaf, head of the diploma&#8217;s scientific committee, Director-General of Human recourses Development, Dr. Rami Al-Abadleh, and members of the diploma&#8217;s faculty.<br \/>\nIn his speech, Dr. Al-Abadleh said the graduation is an embodiment of the distinguished cooperation between the Ministry of Health, the Faculty of Medicine at the IUG, and the Palestinian Medical Council. Noting that this batch&#8217;s graduation coinciding with the Coronavirus pandemic is a challenge to providing better health service.<br \/>\nDr. Farhat praised the Ministry of Health&#8217;s role and its cadres in facing the Corona pandemic, adding that the Ministry of Health is worthy of the citizens&#8217; trust.<br \/>\nDr. Al-Kashef added that this graduation begins a new future, stressing the family doctor&#8217;s prominent role as the first line of defense in receiving cases in primary health care centers.
