MOH- Gaza appreciates the International Committee of the Red Cross role in promoting health services<\/p>\n
The General Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abd al-Latif al-Hajj, commended the leading role of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in implementing several programs to enhance health services.<\/p>\n
During a meeting that gathered delegation from MOH in Gaza at ICRC
\nheadquarters in Gaza City, Dr.Al-Hajj said that both parties have participated in the development and rehabilitating health personnel, implementation of infrastructure, and support of the first response program.<\/p>\n
Ignacio Casares Garcia the head of ICRC’s Gaza sub-delegation, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health and the health personnel working in these exceptional circumstances in light of the COVID-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n
At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Hajj presented an appreciation certificate to Mr. Garcia and Dr. Sonoco, for finishing her supervision of the emergency support system at the Ministry of Health, and Eng.
