\nDevelopments of the ongoing Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip – Day 9. <\/p>\n
Two hundred and seventeen (217) Palestinians have been killed, including 63 children, 36 women, and 16 elderly people. There are 1500 wounded. <\/p>\n
Direct targeting of the Ministry of Health’s facilities stopped the central laboratory’s services for the second day, including Coronavirus testing, COVID-19 vaccinations, pregnancy services, and telemedicine.
\nThe Medical Relief Foundation’s laboratory is being invested to provide coronavirus testing to travelers only due to the laboratory’s limited capacity.<\/p>\n
Israeli forces targeted densely populated residential areas, displacing 40,000 families to shelters. These overcrowded shelters are now a dangerous environment for the rapid spread of COVID-19.<\/p>\n
We call on the international community to provide full protection for health care facilities in Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
