The plastic surgery department at Al-Shifa and Nasser Hospitals conducts about (55) surgical interventions for the victims of the Israeli attacks.<\/p>\n
The local plastic surgical staff in MOH-Gaza, in cooperation with 3 plastic delegations from Britain, Jordan, and the Red Cross, performed 55 cosmetic surgical interventions.
\nThe surgical intervention took place in Al-Shifa and Naser Hospitals for the latest Israeli attack victims in Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n
Head of the Burn Center at Al-Shifa hospital Dr. Maher Sukkar said that the patients were suffering from injuries and severe burns due to the Israeli warplanes bombing high population density areas. <\/p>\n
Dr. Sukkar added that the cases were classified between intermediate and complex, with burns in the face, the abdomen, and other body parts.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, The surgical teams conducted several operations to repair the deformities resulted from the Israeli attacks in partnership with several other different surgical specialties, including transplanting live tissue grafts and others.<\/p>\n
The head of the plastic surgery department at Nasser Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Al-Maghraby indicated that the cases were classified between intermediate and simple cases.<\/p>\n
It is worth mentioning that the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip inflicted about 1948 injuries among civilians as a result of the occupation\u2019s use of excessive force in targeting civilian and health facilities, while medical and surgical teams excelled in various surgical specialties in dealing efficiently with various injuries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
