Abu Silmia receives the Jordanian delegation for kidney transplantation at Shifa Hospital.<\/p>\n
Dr. Muhammad Abu Salmiya, Director General of Al-Shifa Medical Complex received the Jordanian medical delegation represented by Dr. Walid Masoud, a consultant vascular and kidney transplant, who is supervising the second kidney transplantation program.
\nKidney transplantation is the best solution for those suffering from kidney failure, and lifelong hemodialysis, which may last for four hours per day, three times a week, Abu Salmiya said.
\nDr. Abu Salmiya praised the great efforts made by the Jordanian Kingdom, and the generous support provided for the wounded Palestinian people during the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza.
\nDr. Masoud said that this mission shall include performing four surgeries with the support of the Palestine Children’s Relief Society after these operations were halted for more than a year due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
\nDr. Massoud praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Health to provide the best health service despite the brutal conditions of the siege on the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
