              Food Supplements Registration Requirements (Imported)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

              \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

              Every importing or manufacturing company is required to submit the following for the registration purposes of food supplement products:<\/p>\n

              First \/ Administrative Requirements related to the agent :<\/strong><\/p>\n

              \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              1. A License of food supplement store (or equivalent), manufacturing company issued by the licensing unit\/Ministry of Health.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  \n
                1. An authenticated letter from the manufacturer showing that the importing company is the sole agent of the producing company and authorized for registration in the Palestinian National Authority , duly certified ( Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Embassy of Palestine )<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. Registration application forms dully filled .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                    Second \/ Administrative Requirements of the plant ( the manufacturer )<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. The manufacturing company is licensed and approved to manufacture food supplement products. This letter should be approved as required .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                        \n
                      1. A free sale certificate issued from the health authorities clarifying that the product is sold freely in the country of origin, as a food supplement and not as a therapeutic agent under the same name, composition and directions mentioned in the application form for registration. The product should be dealt with in the country of origin for more 2 years .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                          \n
                        1. The manufacturing company is implementing the Good Manufacturing Practices requirements (GMP) and is under the continuous supervision and control of the specialized authority.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                            \n
                          1. The following documents approved by the specialized authorities of the producer`s country:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                              \n
                            • Price to the public in the country of origin.<\/li>\n
                            • Export price to Palestine (F.O.B).<\/li>\n
                            • Suggested price to consumer in Palestine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                \n
                              1. A list of the countries where the product is sold .<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                                  \n
                                1. Declaration from the manufacturing company stating that they are committed to inform the Palestinian Ministry of Health if they stop manufacturing the products or withdraw them from the market and the reasons behind that.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                                  Items from<\/strong> : <\/strong>1-4 ratification is required from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Palestinian embassy<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                  Third \/ The Technical Requirements :<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                  \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

                                  1- The following documents which are required to be original ( sealed from the manufacturer ) :<\/p>\n

                                    \n
                                  • Master formula including all ingredients and their quantities expressed in (V\/V, W\/V, W\/W or %).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                      \n
                                    • Specification of the raw materials included in the manufacturing product including a copy of the reference(s) used and certificates of analysis from the manufacturer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                        \n
                                      • The finished product specifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                          \n
                                        • Certificate of analysis of the finished product .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                            \n
                                          • Certificate prepared by the manufacturer including the shelf life and required storage conditions .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                                              \n
                                            • Labels and packaging materials specifications and samples with a commitment to the data should be available on the internal and external packaging and printing on the outer packaging and internal adhesive a statement of “dietary supplement”<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                                              \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2-Samples from the finished product and the active ingredient(s) sufficient for at least three analyses<\/p>\n

                                              3-Health certificate issued by the manufacturer and approved by the specialized health authorities declares that the products are free from hormones, antibiotics, alcohol, pork products ,pesticide residues ,heavy metals, narcotic products, steroidal, anabolic, active pharmaceutical ingredients, or any chemical ingredients that may cause harm to the body or behavior and the products does not have any side effect like addiction or cell damage.
