This visit came as a result of the\u00a0 Ministry&#8217;s efforts in coordination with the Palestine Children Relief fund &#8221; PCRF&#8221; to facilitate the its entrance to Gaza.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The delegation featured of nine doctors \u00a0from various medical specialties including senior consultant of Urology Dr. Walid Massoud, senior consultant of kidney diseases Dr. Saleh Abu Rumah, Dr. Al-Khateeb senior consultant of anesthesia, pediatric surgeons, spinal surgeons, neurology, ophthalmology, gynecology, and obstetrics.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dr. Al-Khateeb said the visit focused on providing health care services for the patients;\u00a0 running some medical examinations, in addition, to performing major surgeries in European-Gaza hospital and Naser Medical complex, and Al-Shifa Medical complex.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dr. Massoud added that the delegation mission involves training the local medical team to be able to conduct these operations themselves in the coming stages.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hajj, General Director of the hospitals in MOH-Gaza, commended on\u00a0 PCRF efforts for its continuous support to the Palestinian health sector and patients by polarizing medical delegations. &#8220;We are in a dire need for more better-qualified physicians, to overcome the hardships caused by the Israeli siege\u201d he added. \u201cAs well as depriving Gaza Strip patients of medicine and quality medical services by all available means&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Jordanian-British medical delegation starts major operations in Gaza The [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":52,"featured_media":94360,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[381,382,266,383],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-94367","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-english","category-latest-news","category-c79-main-title","category-reports"],"acf":[],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/04.jpg","_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/94367","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/52"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=94367"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/94367\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/94360"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=94367"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=94367"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=94367"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
