MOH, Gaza holds a legal protection meeting for its employees with the participation of the Public Prosecution<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Palestinian Ministry of Health held a meeting regarding the legal protection of the ministry’s employees, with the participation of the Palestinian Public Prosecution, to discuss the attacks on health staff and to guarantee \u00a0non-repetition in the future.<\/p>\n

Ministry of Health Legal Advisor Mr. Saeed Al-Batta called for enhancing\u00a0 protection measurements for government employees within the government departments and institutions in accordance with the provisions of the law and to support tightening the legal procedures against the offenders.<\/p>\n

Director-General of hospitals Dr. Abdulsalam Sabah said that medical staff is the main unit that maintains the resilience of the home front of Palestinian citizens in Gaza.<\/p>\n

He called for maintaining \u00a0a safe environment for health service providers, by tougher penalties for assailants on medical personnel , who are carrying out their humanitarian duty, despite the difficult conditions faced by them in terms of the salaries cuts off and the acute shortage of medicines and supplies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
