{"id":95997,"date":"2019-09-30T10:03:21","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T07:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/?p=95997"},"modified":"2019-09-30T11:15:30","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T08:15:30","slug":"moh-gaza-norway-inaugurate-pain-management-clinic-at-shifa-medical-complex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.moh.gov.ps\/portal\/moh-gaza-norway-inaugurate-pain-management-clinic-at-shifa-medical-complex\/","title":{"rendered":"MoH-Gaza, Norway inaugurates pain management clinic at Shifa Medical Complex"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Funded by the Norwegian government and in cooperation with MOH in Gaza, NORWAC inaugurated pain management clinic at Shifa Medical Complex.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The ceremony was attended by the Ministry of Health represented by the Assistant Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Medhat Muheisen, and the Norwegian Aid Committee (NORWAC ) represented by Dr. Lars Peter the Pain Management Project Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Due to the extremely high number of severely injured people during the \u201cGreat March of Return\u201d, which has been on-going since March 2018, a large number of patients has been suffering from physical injuries. These injuries have a different level of pain, and patients who need longer treatment time and care, are left without sufficient help due to lack of capacity of the ministry of health in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Dr. Peter added &#8220;this clinic, which is stationed in a governmental hospital\u00a0 meant to reduce patients&#8217; levels of pain, including oncology patients&#8221;.
