MOH-Gaza provides hemodialysis services for(880) patients

According to the annual report issued by the PHIC for 2019, the Ministry of Health provides hemodialysis service to (880) patients with kidney failure via five hospitals across Gaza Strip, namely Al Shifa Medical Complex, Nasser Medical Complex, Abu Yousef Al Najjar Hospital, and Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, And Al-Rantisi for children Hospital.

The total number of hemodialysis sessions reached about (117) thousand sessions, that is, an average of (3) sessions per week.
Since establishing “Nora Ben Rashed Al-Kabi Center for renal dialysis, ”a three-story building on an area of 550 meters square, with a capacity of 40 highly-tech hemodialysis units, and a total cost of 1.7 million USD. It is been accessible for citizens in northern Gaza Strip to utilize these services easily.
