Al-Abadla: COVID-19 cases are at their highest this week

The Director of the Infection Control and Safety Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Rami Al-Abadleh said that the Gaza Strip is witnessing an increase in the infection rate in the second Covid 19 wave.

As the critical cases, yesterday reached the highest rates, as the ICU cases reached 308, which is the highest number since the pandemic erupted in the Gaza Strip.

This increase means the increase in the death toll, calling the citizens to be more careful and adhere to preventive and safety measures, to limit the virus spread, said Dr. Al-Abadla.

Dr. Al-Abadala pointed out that the Ministry of Health staff exerts their utmost efforts in following up the infected cases and providing the necessary health care, pointing to the efforts of the epidemiological investigation teams to communicate with citizens, provide the necessary recommendations, collect patient data, identify the sources of infection, issue reports on the investigation committee about prevalence rates and causes Which resulted in injury.
