Dr. Abu Al-Reesh receives recently appointed WHO Head of Sub Office in Gaza

Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Yousef Abu Al-Reesh received WHO in Gaza, Ms. Sasha Botsuma, commencing her duties in the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Abu Al-Rish praised WHO efforts in developing health programs and their contributions in providing health care during the last period.

Dr. Abu Al-Rish demonstrated the most significant challenge facing the health system, caused by the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and its impact on the health service. The crisis of shortage of medicines and medical equipment worsened during the Covid 19 pandemic.
