Dr. Abu Al-Reish discusses the Ministry’s response plan for the COVID-19 pandemic
Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Reish met with a delegation from Médecins Sans Frontières, Belgium MSF represented by Mrs. Helen Otens Patterson.
Dr. Abu Al-Reish briefed MSF Belgium delegation on the Ministry’s efforts on facing the COVID-19 pandemic despite the limited capabilities in Gaza.
He added that the Ministry of Health in Gaza and MSF Belgium may be the focus of joint work, to provide the necessary support to the people in Gaza, enabling them to provide an appropriate health service.
The procedures and policies represented by enhancing medical skills and treating patients in ICU, home outreach for patients, medical services, and the supporting primary health care services.
Dr. Abu Al-Reish at the end of the meeting praised MSF Belgium efforts in supporting the already drained health system during the coronavirus pandemic.
