Dr. Abu Al-Rish receives the Jordanian delegation of kidney transplantation

Deputy Ministry of Health, Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Rish, met with Vascular Surgery Consultant and Kidney Transplantation in Jordan, Dr. Walid Masoud.

The delegation arrived in the Gaza Strip to complete the kidney transplant program after stopping for more than a year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Dr. Abu Al-Rish commended the delegation’s efforts in the current mission, which is a continuation of previous missions program to perform kidney transplants in Gaza.

The two parties discussed the recent kidney transplant operations, which included four successful operations, with the participation of the local medical and nursing team.

The meeting also discussed the kidney transplantation program development.
Nevertheless, the enhancement of the medical team’s skills, in addition to inaugurating the tissue-matching laboratory to complete the service circles.

Dr. Abu Al-Rish expressed his appreciation to Dr. Walid Masoud for his estimated keenness to benefit patients in Gaza Strip. ‎
