Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Reesh, on Thursday, headed a meeting to review the preventive measures and protocols for managing quarantine centers, which are still receiving returnees through the Rafah crossing for the third day in a row.
The meeting attended by Mohammed Awad, head of the Governmental Follow-up Committee in the Gaza, and Deputy Ministry of Interior, Mr. Tawfiq Abu Naim.
Dr. Yousef Abu Al-Reesh stressed the safety of procedures taken while receiving 1841 returnees and distributing them to the designated quarantine centers according to agreed protocols.
Where medical teams are present to supervise the health status of the returnees and provide them with their medical needs during the quarantine period that extends to 21 days.
