Deputy Minister of Health in Gaza Dr. Yousef Abu Al-Rish discussed Emergency medicine training program during a meeting with the Canadian-Palestinian doctor Tarek Loubani, an emergency physician from London who serves as an associate professor at the University of Western Ontario and works in emergency rooms.
During the meeting, deputy minister and Dr.Loubani discussed the proposal of human resource training and development in various disciplines.
Loubani proposed to implement a specialized training program in emergency medicine through the exchange of experiences with one of Canada’s hospitals,
Dr. Abul Rish stated that the ministry of health is ready to support all procedures to implement such programs to meet the continuous need of the ministry to raise the quality of service provided.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Lubani is one of the most well-informed people about the health situation in the Gaza Strip, where he has visited Gaza more than twenty-five times in recent years.
