The director of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, Dr.Sobhi Skaik, stated that the Ministry of Health in Gaza designated the Hospital to be the aggregation to the oncology services as part of its efforts to alleviate the suffering of oncology patients in the Gaza Strip.
The head of the radiology department at the Turkish Friendship Hospital, Dr. Abdul Hai Abed, indicated that the radiology department is one of the main pillars of the hospital, which works with its distinguished cadres and advanced equipment to provide integrated diagnostic and treatment services for oncology patients.

Dr. Skaik said that we are taking studied steps to integrate oncology services, and we continue to strive at the local and international levels to provide radiotherapy for patients who need it.
Dr. Skaik pointed out that patients suffer from a lack of chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, genetic, and biological treatments.
Dr. Skaik called up the international and relief organizations to support oncology services regarding training cadres and provide urgently needed devices and medicines.
Dr. Skaik continued, “We are in the process of activating the Operations Department to perform surgical operations for cases that require intervention, which is part of the ministry’s plan to collect oncology-related services and make optimal use of the great potential in the hospital.
