Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Rish receives Aid and Hope Program Association delegation

Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Rish received a delegation from the Aid and Hope Program Association for Cancer Patients, headed by the General Director of the Association, Ms. Eman Shanan.
This meeting was held to discuss cancer patients’ situation in the Gaza Strip and the means to alleviate their suffering considering the severe shortage of medications and the difficulty of referral abroad for treatment.

Dr. Abu Al-Rish said that the Ministry of Health constantly seeks to provide safe and integrated services to oncology patients’ in cooperation with the MoH’s local and international partners, where the Ministry is constantly striving to develop its service permanently.

Dr. Abu Al-Rish commended on Aid and Hope Association efforts’ in organizing campaigns launched to raise awareness of breast cancer, in addition to its efforts and contribution providing medicines for oncology patients in the Strip.

Ms. Shanan praised the Ministry of Health efforts and the medical personnel capabilities in treating the recent Israeli attack victims, in addition to its efforts to address the Coronavirus pandemic, in parallel with providing health services for citizens in Gaza Strip.
