EGH Neurosurgery Team conducts 7 complicated operations in partnership with the German medical delegation
Medical crews in European Gaza Hospital continue to offer their services in cooperation with the German neurological medical delegation.
Dr. Nidal Abu Hadrous, a consultant and head of the neurosurgery department in the European hospital, said that these surgeries have been conducted in partnership with Dr. Alaa Al-Sharqawi and anesthesia consultant Dr. Alaa Alsalloul, as it will continue for one week.
This trip was marked by preforming L1-L5 lumbar fixation and laminectomy, which lasted for 7 hours.
In addition to conducting cervical laminectomy for five patients. This type of experience acquisition is needed for the local team.
The presence of the German surgical delegation specialized in spinal neurosurgery comes within the Ministry’s policy aimed at developing the services provided at the European Gaza Hospital in a manner that helps local medical cadres to conduct such operations, reduces the burden on patients and the difficulties they face while traveling to obtain treatment abroad.
