Ministry of Health: Gaza hospitals performed (5887) surgeries in August
According to a report issued by the General Administration of Hospitals in August, the hospitals of the Ministry of Health in Gaza have performed about 5,887 surgeries, varying from minor, major, and highly skilled surgeries.
The report indicated that the emergency operations reached (1,166) operations, while the scheduled operations amounted to (2750) operations.
Meanwhile, the surgical teams in Gaza hospitals performed (377) highly skilled operations, (1,356) major operations, and 1,020 minor operations.
As for the daycare departments in the hospitals, their services were provided to (1,146) patients vary between one-day operations, hemodialysis sessions, endoscopy, hematology, oncology, and outpatient daily clinics.
