MoH and WHO implements an advanced course for ICU doctors

The Critical Medicine Department at the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with WHO implemented an advanced course for the first time, targeting intensive care unit (ICU) doctors in major hospitals.

The training course was attended by the Deputy Ministry of Health, Dr. Youssef Abu Al-Rish, the Director-General of Manpower Development, Dr. Ramy Al-Abadla, and Dr. Abdel Nasser Sobh, WHO representative.

The course targeted 60 doctors divided into three groups over five days, to train them to deal with Coronavirous patients in terms of respiratory protocols and first response when receiving critical cases in ICU.
