Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Yousef Abu Al- Rish joined with the Qatari ambassador Mohamed Al Amadi head of Gaza Reconstruction Committee to groundbreaking ceremony for establishing “Nora Ben Rashed Al-Kabi Center for renal dialysis” northern Gaza Strip.
The groundbreaking ceremony took place in the Indonesian hospital, attended by the other representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Almadi stressed on the role of the state of Qatar in supporting the people of Palestine and developing the vital sectors in the Gaza Strip, especially the health sector. He indicated that the project will be a three-story building on an area of 550 meters square, with a capacity of 40 highly-tech hemodialysis units, and a total cost of 1.7 million USD.
Dr. Abu Al- Rish praised the state of Qatar great efforts in the health sector, stressing on the importance of establishing and equipping this center to serve 200 patients.
