A Joint meeting was held between MOH-Gaza represented by Deputy Minister of Health Dr.Yousef Abu-Rish and the Medical Aid for Palestinians “MAP UK” delegation, represented by the program director of the foundation, Mrs. Fikr Shaltout, to discuss the promotion of efforts to support various specialized surgeries, especially orthopedic reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Abu -Al Rish pointed out to the need for such medical delegations, especially in the area of surgical interventions for the wounded victims of the Great March Return, who have difficulty leaving Gaza Strip to complete treatment abroad. It is wirth mentioni g that a British orthopedic surgical delegation is currently existing at Al- Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza city aiming at improving knowledge, training and exchanging experience with the local staff.
