MOH-Gaza: local surgical teams cooperating with the French hand surgery Concludes its mission by performing 40 surgeries

The French delegation for hand and peripheral nerve surgery concluded its mission at Al-Shifa Hospital and the European Gaza Hospital by performing 40 complex and highly skilled surgeries while the delegation examined more than 100 patients.

The Head of the Hand and Peripheral Neurosurgery Unit at Al-Shifa Hospital, Dr. Ashraf Al-Bayaa praised the efforts made to bring this delegation, raising the issue of its impact on improving the surgical and diagnostic skills of the medical staff.

Since the beginning of the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health has adopted a policy of attracting medical delegations to spare citizens of traveling for treatment abroad, in addition to the local medical staff gaining expertise from the visiting delegation.
