The Palestinian Ministry of Health seeks, within its policies, to continuously improve the health services provided to citizens through the implementation of several development and construction projects for its health facilities.
In 2019, many construction projects included the reconstruction of the oncology and hemodialysis department at Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
As the Director-General of Engineering and Maintenance at the Ministry of Health, Eng. Bassam Al Hammadin, stated that the project was implemented with a total cost of 70 thousand USD funded by WHO, as a result of the urgent need for reconstruction, improving the work environment and raising the efficiency and quality of the services provided.
