conducting complex operations to spare patients from the agony of traveling abroad for treatment.

The attendees discussed the size and quality of the services provided by the medical delegations to serve the patients of the Gaza Strip. The main aim of the workshop was to be able to determine each hospital’s needs of these delegations and the nature of the work assigned to them for 2023 to provide advanced medical services in all specialties.

During the workshop, the attendance presented a visual presentation to demonstrate the achievements made in partnership between hospitals, international cooperation with the hospitals, and supporting partners to determine the actual needs for 2023.
The list should be presented through international cooperation to the donors for implementation at the Ministry of Health hospitals this year.

It is worth mentioning that the number of medical delegations mounted to 105 from all specialties, and they examined about 3,500 patients and performed 1,680 surgeries.
The General Administration of Hospitals hoped that this service would continue this year with the efforts of the Ministry of Health and its various departments.
