A Chilean medical delegation specializing in pediatric orthopedics concluded his visit to the Gaza Strip after conducting 32 complicated surgical operations at European in Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
The delegation arrived to the Gaza Strip as a result to the great efforts exerted by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Palestine Children Relief Fund “PCRF” to coordinate the delegation’s presence in order to alleviate the suffering of our people in light of the siege and difficulties that patients face in traveling abroad for treatment.
Dr. Jamal Abu Hilal Head of Hand and Peripheral Neurosurgery Department at the European Gaza Hospital said, the Chilean delegation, which stayed in Gaza for a week, examined about 85 cases, and conducting the operation to the most complicated and rare and cases.
Dr. Abu Hilal pointed to the importance of such medical delegations to continue exchange medical expertise with the local medical staff in the Gaza Strip.
Head of the Medical Delegation Dr. lautaro Campos said, that he was very happy to come to Gaza Strip for the third time to serve the Palestinian people. Dr. Campos praised the level of local medical staff and medical capabilities in the Gaza Strip.
