MOH received a shipment of medicines provided by Rahma Worldwide foundation, which was in response to the urgent needs of medicines and medical consumables with a deficit exceeding 50% in Gaza Strip.

The Director-General of International Cooperation Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Hajj said: “This shipment is important both quantitatively and qualitatively as it includes important items that patients have always waited for in hospitals and primary health care centers.

Dr. Al-Hajj thanked  Rahma Worldwide Foundation for responding to the appeal of Gaza patients, wishing to continue to support the basic medicines and consumables that are in unprecedented shortage “.

Deputy Director of the Foundation / Gaza Office Mr. Moataz Odeh said that the shipment includes important medicines for cancer, renal failer, intensive care, and primary health care.

Which will contribute to the provision of health care to patients in the Gaza Strip, pointing out that we are waiting soon to run two convoys loaded with emergency and urgent medicines for hospitals and primary care centers. The drugs were delivered at the Ministry’s warehouses in addition to the Shifa Medical Complex.
