MOH – Gaza: The Jordanian medical delegation specializing in vascular surgery conducting major operations in cooperation with the local medical staff in Gaza.
The Jordanian medical delegation specializing in vascular surgery, headed by Brigadier Dr. Omar Al-Zoghbi, head of the specialty of vascular surgery at the Royal Jordanian Medical Services, performed major and qualitative operations in vascular surgeries for our patients in the Gaza Strip.
The surgeries were performed with the participation of the Palestinian medical team in Gaza specializing in the same field in each of the complex Al-Shifa Medical Center and the European Gaza Hospital.
Meanwhile, the consultant and head of the vascular surgery department at the European Gaza Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Kaloub, said that the medical delegation performed several surgical operations for patients with kidney failure, as the operations were scheduled to include major and skilled surgeries on arterial connections in the legs, in addition to performing aortic anastomosis
from the abdomen on the left foot.
An official in the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip appreciated the Jordanian medical delegation’s visit to the Gaza Strip, which reflects the Kingdom of Jordan’s support to the people in the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry pointed out the importance of visiting medical delegations in enhancing and the exchange of experiences with our medical teams in Gaza in light of the suffocating siege and the difficulties that our patients face while getting treatment abroad.
