Palestinian Ministry of Health – Gaza, receives the Qatari medical delegation

Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Yousef Abu Rish commended on the Qatari efforts of supporting the health sector in the Gaza Strip during the Israeli siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than 13 years.
In the same context, Dr. Abu Rish received the Qatari medical delegation, stressing on operating Prince Hamad Hospital for the artificial limbs at the highest levels, this comes as a culmination of a series of continuous support to Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Pointing out that MOH will not save efforts in providing the necessary help for the success of the work of the hospital.
General Director of Prince Hamad Hospital for artificial limbs Dr. Raafat Labad praised the cooperation and facilitation made by MoH to conduct the procedures of building and equipping the hospital.
With generous funding and support from the Qatar Development Fund, the hospital will provide free charge services and without any fees for who need prosthetic limbs in the Gaza Strip. It is expected that the hospital will operate for 8 months within a trial period to provide a clear vision for operating the hospital permanently. In addition to providing rehabilitation and therapeutic services, the hospital will include an educational section for research, statistics, training, and rehabilitation.
