Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the opening of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, noting that it took several technical measures to operate the hospital and provide medical services to oncology patients in the Gaza Strip.
General- Director of Hospitals, Dr. Abdel-Salam Sabah said that there is a consensus between the Ministry of Health in Gaza and the northern governorates to operate the hospital.
Dr. Sabah indicated that the hospital, which had been built with a generous donation from the Turkish Republic through the presidency of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination, “TIKA”, it is anticipated to be implemented after the approval of its operational budget.
The Turkish Friendship Hospital, which was established to the highest specifications, includes the latest medical equipment, and construction began in 2011, with an area of ​​34,800 square meters.
