Primary Health care at the MOH-Gaza provides services to more than (181) thousand patients during October
According to the report issued by the PHIC, the General Administration of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health stated the medical centers in Gaza Strip governorates’ had a total of 181 thousand visits during the month of October in 2021.
The report indicated that the total number of services amounted to about (447) thousand services, the diagnostic services reached more than (30) thousand services, while chronic diseases visits amounted to more than (11) thousand visits.
The report indicated that its services included specialized clinics, chronic diseases, maternity care, oral and dental care, child health, maternity, nutrition, Preventive Medicine, which includes the Epidemiology Department, the Food Control Department, and the Vaccination Department, in addition to the Environmental Health Department. , primary care laboratories, school health, education and health promotion, technical specialties, nursing, pharmacy, the medical institution for the prevention of road accidents, and mortality.
