Psychological urgent response teams offer their services along with regular health and surgical services
Psychological urgent response teams provided psychological support to the victims of the recent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
Dr. Yahya Khaddar, Director General of Mental Health, said that they formulated six teams to be activated in the major hospitals.
Their work is based on providing psychological support services for the wounded and their families, as they worked with medical teams.
The mental health teams did not only work closely with the wounded of the Israeli attacks but also worked remotely via the toll-free number 103 and through social media to send positive messages to the public.
