With the beginning of coronavirus second wave in the areas surrounding Gaza Strip, Director of infection control dept. in MOH – Gaza Dr. Rami Al-Abadleh pointed out that the successful experience in the Gaza Strip in facing COVID 19 is due to developing protocols continuously, and simulating other countries’ successful experiences.
Dr. Al-Abadleh Commenting on the spread of the second wave in several countries in the world, saying that the Gaza Strip is spared till this moment from the virus invasion due to the updated and strict measures taken with the returnees by placing them in mandatory quarantine centers for 21 days.
Al-Abadla stressed that it is necessary for the public to comply with the Ministry of Health instructions regarding wearing masks and social distancing in the public places, indicating that the Gaza Strip is still in a risky stage, as the virus is still hitting the countries of the neighboring regions.
