The Supreme Emergency Committee of the Ministry of Health headed by Dr. Yousef Abu Al-Rish met to discuss the preventive and precautionary measures that will be taken during the citizens flow back through the Rafah crossing, where they are expected to arrive in the coming few days.
This committee is expected to monitor the preparedness of the crossing, separating returnees and departures through the Rafah and Beit Hanoun crossings, where the returnees are scheduled to spend a mandatory 21-day in quarantine .
The committee discussed the safety procedures followed during the transportation of patients, taking samples to detect any positive cases of COVID 19.
The attendees emphasized preparing qualified and trained health cadres including doctors, nurses, and cleaners to work inside the quarantine centers.
