Turkish Friendship Hospital informs the Palestinian Center for Human Rights about the reality of cancer patients in the Gaza Strip.
Dr Mohammed Abu Nada, medical director of the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, briefed a delegation from the field research unit at the Palestinian Center for Human Rights on the reality of cancer patients in the Gaza Strip،
He pointed out that the Ministry of Health is exerting great and double efforts to provide the necessary shortages of medicines, medical consumables and diagnostic devices to provide the integrated and decent health service it aspires to provide for oncology patients in the Gaza Strip.
He pointed to the severe shortage of medicines in addition to the pressures incurred by medical staff, especially in outpatient clinics, where an estimated 500 patients attend daily.
Dr Abu Nada pointed out that the hospital suffers from a shortage of human resources, which is the nerve of providing health service and one of the indicators of the quality of service provision.
