Union of Palestinian Doctors and Pharmacists in Germany donates BiPAP ventilators to EGH in Gaza
European Gaza Hospital received ten BiPAP respiratory ventilators from the Union of Palestinian Doctors and Pharmacists in Germany UPDP.
Dr. Walid Al-Salhi, a consultant and head of the Anesthesia and ICU Department, at EGH and also a member of the UPDP delivered the devices on behalf of the union.
Dr. Al-Salehi stated: ” that these devices have a great role in treating COVID 19 patients, due to their usability and transportability, and they are a suitable alternative for the old and complicated respiratory ventilators.
EGH administration commended on the Union efforts in supporting the health sector in the besieged Gaza Strip.
